Rick Santorum Leads Big In Michigan GOP Polling

Well, it sure looks like Mr. Inevitable is having trouble even on his home turf! Rick Santorum has taken a huge lead in Michigan according to this PPP poll.

“Rick Santorum’s taken a large lead in Michigan’s upcoming Republican primary. He’s at 39% to 24% for Mitt Romney, 12% for Ron Paul, and 11% for Newt Gingrich.”

The three state sweep of conservative voters in Missouri, Minnesota and Colorado has propelled Rick into the front runner spot in Michigan. It’s still very early,  but with Santorum up this big it could spell the beginning of the end for the Mittster in 2012. You can read the PPP article on the recent Michigan poll numbers on the Public Policy Polling website.
